SM9733 : Llygad-y-Cleddau

taken 8 years ago, near to Trecwn, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

The entrance to the farm of this name, which means Source (strictly 'eye') of the [Western] Cleddau, although in fact this branch of the double river itself issues from two separate springs which meet near Wolfscastle. The other source is located in the vicinity of SM9138 : Penysgwarne Farm on Pencaer.

Here there is a pool, Ffynnon Cleddau, a little above this point but what appears to be a stream bed is completely dry following several months of dry weather.
