Elephant no. 226, covered in jewels, is in the window of Coutts bank in the Strand.

Over 250 models of elephants decorated by different artists have been installed for May and June 2010 around central London, some on streets, some in parks, some inside buildings. See LinkExternal link . The aim is to draw attention to the need to conserve the Asian elephant.
