Back-to-Back
Back-to-Back
Four of the Indian elephants in the London Parade stand back-to-back with each other on a roundabout in Trafalgar Square, facing the four corners of the world, perhaps in imitataion of the lions at the base of nearby Nelson's column.
Elephant parade :: TQ2981
Over 250 models of elephants decorated by different artists have been installed for May and June 2010 around central London, some on streets, some in parks, some inside buildings. See LinkExternal link . The aim is to draw attention to the need to conserve the Asian elephant.
