One of the most surreal of the elephants in the parade, no. 167 had legs covered in fish-scales, with enormous eyes. In Foubert's Place.
Elephant parade

Over 250 models of elephants decorated by different artists have been installed for May and June 2010 around central London, some on streets, some in parks, some inside buildings. See LinkExternal link . The aim is to draw attention to the need to conserve the Asian elephant.
