Heol Pont-y-cwcw climbs towards a railway bridge
Heol Pont-y-cwcw climbs towards a railway bridge
Having followed a flat course along the Wentlooge Levels, Heol Pont-y-cwcw climbs towards the bridge across the South Wales main railway line. As this is the only bridge along the road, it must be the Pont in question. The translation of the Welsh name is Cuckoo Bridge.
I found no evidence for the name of the bridge or the road in the locality - my sole reference is an online Ordnance Survey map.
