Lesser Black-backed Gulls (Larus fuscus)
Lesser Black-backed Gulls (Larus fuscus)
This is the commonest species of gull on the island, with large areas of rock devoted to their breeding grounds, which they share with Herring Gulls. They have a dark grey rather than a black back and yellow feet, while most Herring Gulls here have pink feet.
