SP2166 : Arrangements for crossing the permanent way

taken 7 years ago, near to Pinley Green, Warwickshire, Great Britain

Arrangements for crossing the permanent way
Arrangements for crossing the permanent way
Roughly where the big tree is some timber steps climb the embankment from the nettle-infested public footpath along the north side of the railway. OS Explorer shows a footbridge there but with the public footpath continuing past it to a foot crossing at the site of the newish footbridge whose steps appear in the foreground. It is one of five or so footbridges of the same vintage that have replaced foot crossings on the Snow Hill line west of Warwick.
