This large rock on Helm Crag is known by various names including the Lion and the Lamb, Howitzer, the lady playing the organ, depending on from where it is observed.

When this image was captured a ham radio enthusiast was active from the top of it. The summit is featured in A.Wainwright's Pictorial Guide to the Central Fells and is the 201st highest of the 214 fells listed in the guides, at 405m high.
