NT6599 : Fluke Street

taken 7 years ago, near to Tarbet Hole [water Feature], Fife, Great Britain

Fluke Street
Fluke Street
The buildings here, known as Fluke Street, were the business part of the island, where the necessary machinery and services were centred, as well as some of the lighthouse keepers' houses. I think the pipe on the left supplied compressed air to the North Horn. The South Horn is in the background, and the coast of East Lothian in the distance.
