Pilgrims' Haven
Pilgrims' Haven
This is the only beach on the island, all the rest of its shore being rocky. The pebbles (or, in geological terminology, cobbles) are well rounded by being rolled around by the sea, and they are called chatterstones because of the noise they make when being moved by the waves. The South Horn is on the headland beyond.
