Maiden Rocks
Maiden Rocks
These rocks form a separate small islet off the southern tip of the Isla of May, an undoubted hazard to shipping. The rock is teschenite, similar to that in the Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh, and there is a hint of columnar jointing.
