South Ness
South Ness
South Ness is, not surprisingly, one of the southern extremities of the island, though not the furthest south point. This is the view from a point marked Lady's Bed on the Isle of May handout map. On the left is a narrow arch right though the rock. The rock of the arch looks different from the neighbouring rocks on either side, and may be a fault or a later igneous intrusion. Or it may not.
