The 'Alvis bridge', Holyhead Road
For many years the bridge carrying the Coventry-Nuneaton rail line over Holyhead Road carried the distinctive red triangle logo of Alvis as the factory was immediately adjacent on the right. After the factory was demolished and replaced by a retail park, the logo was replaced by that of a well-known fast food outlet. This was not greeted with much enthusiasm so now the metalwork is on display.
