Postgate Cross
Postgate Cross
Postgate Cross is situated on the old road from Pickering and Hackness to Whitby Abbey. This route from the Abbey was known as the Abbey Road. The cross is Medieval in origin. Whitby and the North Sea are in the background, you are seeing the North York Moors on a better day, but whatever the weather it is a superb area for walking.
