Cadges Mill
Cadges Mill
This mill was built to drain the marshes in the 1870s to 1880s. The mill operated until 1941 when diesel engines (preserved in the green building to the left) were installed. The mill was derelict until the 1980s when electric pumps were installed inside. The River Yare is the river, running downstream to the North Sea.
