The Pump House
A view of the pump house at Reedham Marsh Pump station.

Unfortunately the old steam engine and boiler and long gone but this once overgrown building has been restored along with Polkeys Mill beside it by the Norfolk Windmill trust with Wren and Lottery money. It was constructed in 1880 by Richard Barnes of Great Yarmouth for John W Rose. Housing a small single cylinder steam engine with coal fired boiler. A coal storage room was built to hold an entire wherry load of coal. The chimney which has been reduced in height is now leaning.
