The Keyhole
The Keyhole
A gap maintained in the woods at the top of the scarp slope of the North Downs near Chevening, kept clear of trees and known as The Keyhole. From this direction it has no obvious purpose, but looking through The Keyhole from the other direction reveals all - see TQ4857 : Through The Keyhole.
