SK5930 : Solitary cloud

taken 14 years ago, near to Bradmore, Nottinghamshire, England

Solitary cloud
Solitary cloud
During the morning, this cloud was the only one in the area, being caused by the heat rising from Ratcliffe Power Station. An hour or so earlier, it had been sitting directly above the power station, without a breath of wind, but by this time there was a very slight breeze so it was slightly displaced. Seen from the road junction at Rancliffe Wood, near Bunny.
