Power station on Loch Shin
Power station on Loch Shin
I once heard from a local over thirty years ago that coal was at one time taken across Loch Shin over the ice by horse and cart. The storyteller said that the horse was left to its own devices and could detect were the ice was solid and hence safe to tread on.I wonder how true this story is?
