taken 8 years ago, near to Great Rollright, Oxfordshire, Great Britain

Butlers Hill crossroads
Butlers Hill crossroads
The minor road that runs along the ridge from the A44/A436 junction to Great Rollright crosses the A3400 (formerly the much busier A34). The crossroads was dangerous, occurring just after the crest of the ridge. Much work was done make the crossroads safer. A cutting was created for the A3400 and the minor road was re-aligned to offset it. The minor road is also the county boundary, Oxfordshire this side, Warwickshire the other side.
