Gap through the embankment - Rings End Nature Reserve
Gap through the embankment - Rings End Nature Reserve
According to the OS map there should still be a railway bridge here but it looks like it was removed years ago.
This nature reserve and cycle path runs from Rings End near Guyhirn to the Twenty Foot River north of March. It has been created on the raised embankment which once carried the GE & GN Joint Line from Spalding to March over the fenland and closed in November 1982.
