Glen Luibeg path junction
Glen Luibeg path junction
Right for Glen Luibeg and Coire Sputan Dearg on Ben Macdui. Left for the fence crossing into the enclosure and, beyond, a bridge and the Lairig Ghru (pass). The fence crossing is a trick, it's not a gate, it's a small enclosure on the fence line that looks like a trap to deer so they don't venture into it, but walkers (and even those with bikes or horses) may walk through easily.
Almost needless to say (in Scotland) there's no signpost or waymarker at this junction. This is not a walk for the faint of heart or inadequate of map-reading!
