SE6065 : The River Foss

taken 8 years ago, near to Farlington, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

The River Foss
The River Foss
The Foss looks hardly bigger than a large drainage ditch at this point, although the photo was taken from a twin arched bridge. The Foss starts its journey at a spring near Yearsley [SE578749] and meanders its way to York where it joins the Ouse in the city centre.
