Wet and muddy bridleway
Wet and muddy bridleway
When all else is tending to midsummer dust, down in this gill a deep-sourced springline keeps a stretch of this bridleway in an unpleasant state. It must be very bad in winter. Fortunately the bridleway does not seem to be used by horses. However it is much used by walkers and the odd cyclist, and forms part of the High Weald Landscape Trail.
