Holne: Hamlyn's Leat
Holne: Hamlyn's Leat
Marked on Ordnance Survey maps as the Holne Moor Leat, this 4.5 mile long watercourse once helped to power Higher Buckfast Mill at SX739674, but it also served farms bordering the moorland such as West Stoke, reached by a subsidiary channel. Here the leat is crossed by the bridleway from Fore Stoke to Holne Lee
