The church of SS Peter and Paul in Shernborne - figure brass
St Peter and Paul's church > Link was restored in 1998 by Edward VII who at the time was Prince of Wales. The church houses one of the best Norman fonts > Link in the county. Its square bowl stands on four columns and the bowl has intricate carvings depicting animal heads at the base. A brass dating from 1458, affixed to the chancel north wall, depicts Sir Thomas de Shernborne and his wife Johanna.
