NH4209 : Loch Tarff

taken 7 years ago, near to Glendoebeg, Highland, Great Britain

Loch Tarff
Loch Tarff
Islet-studded Loch Tarff is the furthest south of the small lochs visible from the B862. Notice how the islands, not regularly grazed by deer or sheep, are thickly vegetated while the surrounding land is almost treeless. The hill above it is Beinn a' Bhacaidh (555 metres) with a subsidiary top at 512 metres visible on its left flank.
