This is the replacement channel marker for the Calshot Spit Lightship, now located near Ocean Village marina SU4210 : Calshot Spit Light Vessel. Notice the round ball shape to the right which indicates that this object is 'at anchor'. The light characteristic of the buoy is one white flash every five seconds. The buoy also emits two horn sound signals every minute.
