The light at Cross Ness in its setting
Seen from the Thames Path, the light at Cross Ness signals the boundary between Barking Reach upriver and Halfway Reach downriver. This stretch of the Thames Path is one of the more attractive stretches in the Borough of Bexley. The nearby sewage treatment works of Crossness takes its name from the promontory.
