Castell Coch
Castell Coch
The high defensive walls of Castell Coch. Though originally a medieval castle, Castell Coch was almost completely rebuilt in the late 19th century into a 'fairytale'-style castle for the third marquess of Bute by William Burges to a design by William Burgess. When viewed from in the valley below it stands in a beautiful position in woodland above the Taff valley.
