Looking west from Highbury & Islington
See TQ3184 : Highbury and Islington Station. This shows, on the right, the 'No 1 Lines', recently restored to passenger train use, which bend as they enter the station, as they were the second pair of lines built, in 1871. The other pair, the 'No 2 Lines' were actually the first ones built, dating from 1850.
