Yellow Rattle (Rhinanthus minor)
Yellow Rattle (Rhinanthus minor)
These are the developing seed pods of Yellow Rattle, with one of its parrot-beak shaped flowers just going over at the tip of the stem. It gets its name from the rattling of the seeds inside the ripe seed pods.
