Summit tor, the Fara
Summit tor, the Fara
It's unusual to see a tor outside the granite, but this is a core-stone of relatively un-jointed schist from which surrounding shattered stone has been removed by weathering. So really it can be regarded as a tor. It is an outcrop on the summit ridge.
