SH4490 : Mine Entrance

taken 7 years ago, near to Gadfa, Isle of Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Great Britain

Mine Entrance
Mine Entrance
This door, almost hidden in the walls of the open cast pit, gives access to some of the many miles of tunnels, shafts and caverns which honeycomb the mountain outside the pit. There are occasional guided tours underground, but otherwise there is no access to these parts of the mine.
