Precipitation Ponds
These SH4490 : Precipitation Ponds were fed from the upper ponds through a culvert in the massive dam in this view. Amazingly, this huge hole is not part of the great open cast pit, but a separate set of excavations, also worked mainly with picks and shovels. SH4490 : Precipitation ponds, Mona Mine, Parys Mountain is a closer view.
