Wild flowers at Boscregan
Wild flowers at Boscregan
Since 1997, the eleven fields at Boscregan owned by the National Trust have been farmed in order to encourage the growth of arable weeds and no herbicides or fertilisers are used. In the summer months the fields are a riot of colour - seen here are Scarlet Pimpernel (Anagallis arvensis), Bird's Eye or Speedwell (Veronica persica) and the rare Purple Viper's Bugloss (Echium plantagineum).
