taken 7 years ago, near to Glasbury, Powys, Great Britain

Embankment formerly part of railway route
Embankment formerly part of railway route
Viewed from the edge of B4350. Running across the middle of the view is an embankment, which formerly carried the railway lines between Glasbury and Hay-on-Wye. It was part of the Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway which opened for traffic in 1864 and closed in 1962.
The embankment is directly northeast of the remains of a railway bridge. LinkExternal link
