Site of railway bridge, High Street
Site of railway bridge, High Street
The former L&NWR line from Rugby to Leamington crossed the High Street by a tubular bridge whose eastern end rested on this abutment, built in 1850 on the site of Curtis' Original Baths and Copps' Royal Hotel. The bridge was removed in 1968 following the closure of the line. The former GWR bridge, right, remains in operation.
