NG2451 : Site of Hut Circle

Site of Hut Circle
The Highland Council Archaeological Sites and Monuments Record, and the OS map, record the remains of a Bronze Age hut circle at this spot. Allowing for inaccuracy in my GPS device, I tramped around in the heather for while without finding any visible evidence of the former structure - there are supposed to be outer facing stones visible. I presume they are now buried in the heather, grass and moss of the moor. I wonder why Bronze Age settlers chose this spot? There is no immediately local source of building stone, and even the nearest water supply is more than a short walk away. I would have chosen somewhere nearer to a supermarket.
A few minutes later, I found this - NG2451 : Remains of a building?.
