Traeth Lleiniog
Traeth Lleiniog
By the headland is Tre-Castell Stack, an outlier eroded from the low cliffs by the action of the sea. The boulders on the foreshore are probably erratics dumped by the retreating ice at the end of the last Ice Age. To the south, beyond Afon Menai (the Menai Strait) are the mountains of North Wales.
