St Dunstan's church: new east end
St Dunstan's church: new east end
The chancel of the church was never built as designed and the "temporary" wall shown in TQ3772 : St Dunstan, Bellingham - East end was replaced in 2006 by this new one with a larger area of glass.
St Dunstan's church, Bellingham
This Anglican church was built in 1929 to the designs of Sir Charles Nicholson (one of several churches that he designed for this rapidly expanding part of London). Unlike his nearby church of St John the Baptist TQ3871 : St John the Baptist, Bromley Road, Southend this one has never been listed. It stands on the east side of Bellingham Green, facing the United Reformed church on the west side.
