Wherry Yacht White Moth, River Bure
Wherry Yacht White Moth, River Bure
One of the later Wherry Yachts to be built (1915), White Moth can still be chartered, via the charity Wherry Yacht Charter who acquired use of her in 2012. She currently looks a little different, having had some work to restore certain traditional features: her mast is now varnished rather than painted, she has a fabric flag on her vane with no notch cut out, and her coach roof is lino.
