Howbury Manor from Moat Lane
Howbury Manor from Moat Lane
Howbury Moat dates from before the Norman Conquest. There have been various manor houses within the moat, but the last one fell into dereliction in the 20th century. Appearing above the ruins of the manor house is the 17th century tithe barn.
