Long Lane is an upland bridleway from Helwith Bridge towards Pen-y-ghent.
SD8373 : Pen-y-ghent trig point
Despite being relatively close to Pen-y-ghent the livestock are cautious of visitors so presumably less people use this approach to the peak.
