Cairn and Summit Area of Water Crag
Cairn and Summit Area of Water Crag
Water Crag is the most northerley 2000 foot top of the Yorkshire Dales. The name more properly applies to an outcropping band of rock W. of the summit area but in the absence of a more obvious name, has become associated with the flat summit area. The trig is the accepted high point and is visible across the heather moor on the skyline left of the cairn.
