Rowter Farm and Mam Tor
Rowter Farm and Mam Tor
The large landslide located on the eastern flank of one of Derbyshire's most prominent hills, the ancient Iron-age hillfort named Mam Tor, has been unstable for the past 4000 years. Its continued movement and subsequent disruption has earned it the nickname "The Shivering Mountain".
