Old Calton Burying Ground from the Old Calton Burying Ground
Old Calton Burying Ground from the Old Calton Burying Ground
The graveyard was split in two when Waterloo Place and Regent Road were laid in the 1820s. The disturbed graves were removed to the New Calton Burying Ground (Regent Road Cemetery) about half a mile further west. The graveyard straddles two geograph squares. This view is taken from the smaller section surviving on the north side of Waterloo Place.
