TM3389 : The White Swan

taken 8 years ago, near to Bungay, Suffolk, Great Britain

The White Swan
The White Swan
The White Swan dates from the 17th century and has also been know as Swan, Sygnets and, until recently, Swansons. The narrow passage to the right of the building leads to the car park and also gives vehicular access to private dwellings behind the buildings fronting Market Place. Between the White Swan and the Bungay Shopper is an alleyway giving pedestrian access to the castle area. The bus shelter that can just be seen is for services towards Norwich and also some of the services to Diss or Beccles. This view is from the top of the tower of St Mary's Church.
