St Mark's church and hall, Battersea Rise
St Mark's church and hall, Battersea Rise, taken 7 years ago
St Mark's church was built in 1872-74 to the designs of architect William White. It is listed grade 2*. It is one of the leading Evangelical churches of south London, so the banner for the Alpha Course on the church hall is no surprise. The hall dates from c. 2005; for a similar view before the hall was built, see TQ2775 : St Mark, Boutflower Road, London SW11.
