Ramsay Gardens from the Mound
Ramsay Gardens from the Mound
Residences developed by Sir Patrick Geddes (1854-1932), the 'father of British town planning', who pioneered the renewal of many properties in the Old Town that had degenerated into slums. Mind you, his home still looks a wee bit too Teutonic for its surroundings; but if its purpose was to draw attention to his ideas, it certainly worked.
